The Day Before Sept 11th

The 10th
It was the day that I last saw your smile
and it's the day where everyone thought....
I didn't understand
And now?
It's the day where I prepare for the worst.
The day I think of everyone and not just you.
Everyone that I lost....
Maybe I'm being selfish by wanting...
to see all of you smile again.
But you belong to God
and I can't have you.
At least not now
not anymore.....
I remember when
I used to be able to talk to you
Even though you werent
really there.
I remember the laughs we shared.
And to think of it now....

Now I hate the fact
That everytime I think of you
All of you.
It makes me sad
It makes me angry
Our memories....
Just don't make me happy anymore
I miss you
I love you
